The Council Company Network heard from another well established council company, Norse Commercial Services, part of the Norse Group.
Stuart McWilliam, General Council and Company Secretary, gave an assessment of some of the reasons for the significant growth of the company formed by Norfolk County Council. An almost franchise style model involved working with large numbers of other councils on areas such as waste, care and street scene.
The network also heard from Barry Gostling, Chartered Accountant from Ensors one the role of financial reporting in a healthy council company.
